| July 2007 | Pattaya Marathon - Thailand - Kenyan Joel Kiplimo Kemboi recovered his flight cost and more when he broke the Pattaya Marathon course record last weekend finishing in 2:19:41. Taking home over US$8000 in prizemoney from winning the race, it was certainly worth the trip. Joel has been collecting his fair share of trophies this year,after a tremendous start to 2007 by winning the Khon Kaen Marathon, Thailand in January (2:21:38), and the Penang Bridge Half Marathon in Malaysia last month in a cool 1:07:40.
